Rebel is an ISDS and Kennel Club registered red, white & tan fully trained (for farm and trial), classy, sharp and extremely obedient collie dog. He has a faultless temperament, is excellent with children, strangers, other dogs and young pups. He is a real pleasure to have around.

He has sired 3 good sized litters prior to joining us and is clear for everything on the full MyDogDNA panel (including Raine syndrome, CEA, IGS, TNS, NCL, GGD, SN and MDR1) but carries 1 marker for EOAD. He is sired by Kevin Evan’s Jaff out of Dean Addison’s Meg (full pedigree can be downloaded below). Aged 4 years and 10 months he had his hips scored at 4/6 and elbows at 0/0.

He joined us from Pembrokshire in Spring 2023 after a winter of trialling and has taken to working the hill with ease. One of the things we love about Rebel is the fact that not only will he work for both of us but he also successfully moves hundreds of sheep on a fell gather or can switch and easily demonstrate great patience when faced with a handful of stubborn un-dogged sheep.

He is especially popular with our school visits to the farm - not only is he super affectionate towards them all (he loves people) but they find it magical how he will listen to them even though they have only just met him and move the sheep.
